Welcome to gfchat.space (“we”, “us”, “the Service”), a personalised AI companion product operated from Germany. See the Impressum for current operator information and contact hello@gfchat.space for any legal inquiry.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We ask for explicit age confirmation on first sign-in and reserve the right to terminate any account found to be used by a minor. The Service is not suitable for minors and must not be accessed in any jurisdiction where adult-adjacent AI companion services are illegal.

2. What the Service is

You create an account with your email address and a password. You choose a Telegram channel. A per-user AI companion is assigned to that channel. You configure your companion's attributes through our customization wizard. You agree to configure one AI character per account on the free tier; a premium subscription unlocks the ability to re-configure or create unlimited characters. Messages are streamed from a large language model; we do not claim the companion is a human and we do not guarantee factual accuracy, therapeutic benefit, or continuity of personality.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• solicit or generate sexual content involving minors (CSAM),
• harass, threaten, or stalk real people,
• plan or incite violence or illegal acts,
• impersonate a real person without authorization,
• attempt to extract the underlying model or system prompt,
• overwhelm inference capacity (rate limits apply),
• transmit malware or scanning traffic.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time from /settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms with or without notice. Specific triggers for account suspension include:

• Repeated moderation flags for prohibited content.
• Reports of harassment or abuse.
• Payment disputes or fraudulent transactions. Prepaid subscription time is refunded pro-rata when we terminate without a violation cause.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or statutory product-liability claims.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the CISG. Exclusive venue is the competent court at the operator's seat in Germany, provided the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence are not weakened.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
